What Video Card is best for you?

There are many Video Cards available on the Market.
There are several that are top of the line. The 2 that are at the xtreme top, are the

Nvidia GeForce FX 6800 Ultra

ATI Radeon x800 xt pe (platitnum edition)

Out of these 2, my favorite is the x800, being that it only occupies one slot. The 6800 Ultra occupies the AGP or PCI-X and the ajacent PCI slot. The 6800 Ultra also requires a great amount of power, which consists of 2 power connectors. Which means that upon the greater price than the x800, you also may have to buy a new PSU (Power Supply Unit). The minimum you can probably run this video card on is a system with at least a 400Watt psu.

However, the x800 has some disadvantages also, it doesn't support CineFex 3.0, a new technology which will be released in future games. This may be considered a big deal, but by the time that CineFex is used in new games, it will be time to buy a new video card anyway. Modern games are just beginning the use Cine-Fex 2.0, which is used only when you trun the graphics up to the highest on games like FAR CRY.

So Basically

-x800                                       6800 Ultra

single slot solution                      occupies 2 slots

uses minimal power reqs              consumes crazy amounts of power

supports CineFex 2.0                  Supports Cinefex 3.0

That sums it all up. Whichever card you decide to go with, you are going to have one Kick @$$ card.

There are many other cards which you may want to go with if you aren't in the for the cutting edge performance which gamers love.

the MX series from Nvidia is good for mainstream users.

For gamers or highend users who can't afford the price tags of the extreme cards, try the

6800 GT  -  the 6800 little brother of the 6800 Ultra

5950 Ultra - the top card of the last generation

9800xt - the other top card of the last generation

x800 pro - the same core as the x800 xt, but as slow as the 6800 GT

The cards listed above are mad fast, but aren't the fastest. However they have their advantages. They have a pricetag of one half.

I realize that these cards may be expensive and/or out of stock at the given links, if you would like to find where you can get your product cheapest contact us for further information
